The Bogtoa Cross Country Squads had a split results at their meet at Garret Mountain on Wednesday. The Lady Bucs runners lost to Cresskill by the score of 23-38. Jillian O'Brien's first place finish ,along with Anais Fernandez fourth place was not enough to over come Cresskill's 5-9 runner placement.
The Boy runners had the double victory with a close 27-28 win over Cresskill, and a 15-50 win over Waldwick. Quinn Geraghty finish first overall while Chris Rivera took third, Andy Jaipersaud & Michael Gioiosa placed 6th & 7th with Juan Castro & Manny Feliciano taking 10 & 11.
Bogota next meet is Wednesday 9- Oct at the Darlington race course against Saddle River & Palisades Park.
In Volleyball the Lady Bucs match against Cresskill has been moved to Cresskill at 4:00p in order to not be in conflict with Bogota High School Back to school Night. This will be made up by have the 29- October Match moved to Speary Gym against Cresskill.
After this the Lady Bucs take place in the Garden State Classic which will be held at the Rothman Center on the Fairleigh Dickerson Campus in Hackensack. Game will be held Saturday & Sunday 5-6 October. Starting time will be 9:00a both days. Bogota has a chance to defend their 2012 Classic title against teams from New Jersey as well as other schools from the Northeast part of the United States
