Thursday-26- Sept.
The Bogota Volunteer Fire Dept. Hook & Ladder Co. #1 and Engine Co. #1 will hold their second annual Blood Drive on Thursday-26- September. This event will take place at the West Broad St. Firehouse next door to the Police Headquarters. The drive will start at 3:00p and go to 8:00p, and is being co-sponsored by the Community Blood Services. Anyone donating at this event will be eligible to win two tickets to Super Bowl XLIII, and receive a Super Community Blood Drive wrist band.. If anyone wants to schedule an appointment please: call 201-251-3703. However all who wish to can come to the firehouse between 3:00- 8:00p and donate without an appointment.

Saturday- 28-Sept.
The Bogota High School Band parents will be sponsoring their Annual Town Wide garage Sale. This take place from 10:00a to 4:00p throughout Bogota. There is a $15 fee to have your location place on the map of the Borough. To have your sale listed please contact Diane Occhiogrosso at 201-488-8127 before Tuesday 24-Sept.

Sat.-Mon 28-30 Sept.
The High School PTO will have a Clothing Drive in front of the High School. Items needed are useable clothing, bedding, and soft toys will be accepted. All items need to be securely bagged and place on the tarp in front of the High School.
Bogota
Sunday 29-Sept.
The final performance of the Bogart Music Festival will take place at 4:30p in the Bogart memorial Reform Church located at 263 Larch Ave. Bogota, NJ. This days program will be the Fataisie of Scheherazade performed by the Eury Piano Ensemble. Admission is free, and for more information please 201-591-9729.

Future Events
Bogota 12-October
The Steen PTO will be hosting a Fall Festival on Saturday 12- October in Olsen Park Bogota, NJ There will be Multiple Bounce Houses, Pony and Hay Rides, and a Petting Zoo. There will also be Food and Craft vendors. Tickets for the rides will be $20 for 25 tickets, there will also be bracelet available for $15 that will give unlimited Bounce House access. This is open to all children of grade school age. For older student there is the possibility that Vice Principal Kennedy will sit in as a target for some pie throwing. There will be a live DJ to provide dancing music. A" Pumpkin Patch" with pumpkins available for purchase, and to decorate.
Some of the vendors scheduled to be at the Festival will be a custom T-shirt maker, and a photo booth. Along with a selection of Mums for sale.
The PTO is also looking for volunteer help during the Festival. They are needed to run some of the activities as well as with set up and cleaning up of festival items. Any Parent who volunteers will receive ten complimentary tickets for the rides.
