The Bogtoa Lady Bucs Volleyball lost to Immaculate Heart Academy on Tuesday 0-2 (14-25, 11-25) this was their first scheduled regular season loss, but second overall having also lost to IHA in the opening Tournament on Sat. 7-Sept. at Paramus.
Bogtoa next match is Friday 13- Sept as the Lady Bucs travel to Emerson for a 4:00p match versus lady Cavaliers.

The Village of Ridgefield Park will hold a remembrance ceremony for the victims of the Sept. 11 attacks in 2001, This will take place at the Ridgefield Park 9-11 Memorial at Fireman's Plaza located at Euclid Ave. and Cedar St in Ridgefield Park , NJ the service is scheduled to begin at 7:00p

The Bucs Football team has it's first game of the season as they travel to New Milford to take on the Knights. Kick-off is scheduled to be at 7:00p.
The Bogota Cross-Country squads have their season opener At Darlington Park. Both the Girls and the Boys squads will start their defense of their NJIC & Patriot Divisions Titles

Bogota Jr. Bucs football team play there inaugural game as part of the Bi-County Junior Scholastic Football League (BCJSFL) They will open their season at Feigel Field by hosting Little Ferry. The first game is scheduled to have an 11:00a kick-off.
Sunday 15-Sept.
Teaneck, NJ
The Teaneck Creek Conservancy is having an birding for beginners program at the Teaneck Creek Park located at 20 Puffin Way Teaneck, NJ. This will be co-hosted by the Bergen County Audubon Society and will have a talk on how to identify birds , and what equipment, and guide books are useful for bird watching. This will be followed by a walk along the Conservancy trails .
