Bogota
- The Bogota Recreation Commission will be holding a paper shredding event in the parking lot of the Rec. Building starting at 9:00a to 1:00p. This will be a chance to safely depose of confidential documents as well reducing the amount of waste they would take up.

- The Bogota Swim Club will be hosting it's 4th annual Adult Swim . The Bogota Swim Club located at the end Feller Place behind Feigel Field Bogota, NJ. Gates open at 8:00p and goes until 1:00a, and this is an Adults only event with guest needing to be 21 years of age and older. Tickets are $25 per person if order before 2 August. Admission will then be $30 the day of the event. This will be an evening of swimming and entertainment with food and Music. Drinks will be allowed to be brought in, but no glass containers. Tuesday 6-Aug.
Teaneck
- The Teaneck Police Dept. will be hosting a National Night Out at Votee Park. This will start at 5:00p and got until 9:00p. This will be a chance to interact with the Dept. of Public Safety including Police, Fire , and EMS. Weather permitting a Helicopter landing. Some activities that are scheduled are face painting , inflatables, and other give-a-ways .

Hackensack
- The Hackensack Police Dept. will also be hosting a National Night Out at the Green in front of the County Courthouse located at Main, and Court Sts. This will start at 6:00p and go until 10:00p . This event will have crime prevention, and other safety tips, along with prizes & raffles. A free concert by " Filet of Soul" will begin at 7:30p

Wednesday 7-Aug.
Ridgefield Park
- The next performance in the McGowan Summer concert series will be the Waldwick Community Band. The will present a range from Broadway show tunes to classical favorites & marches. The performance is Schedule to start at 7:30p in McGowan Park on the Bergen Turnpike in Ridgefield Park. Patrons should bring their own chairs, or blankets. Rain date is the next day Thursday 8- August.
