After a year of false starts, and confusion Bogota Day has returned. It will take place on Saturday 29- June- 2013 ( Rain date will be the following Sunday 30-June) It will be held in Olsen Park located at 162 W. Main St. in Bogota, NJ. The event will run from 12:00 noon to 10:00p As in past years any local organization are urged to take part in this event. Registration is FREE to all local groups, but they must be register before Friday 21- June- 2012 At this time there at at least 10 local Organization that will be providing food and refreshment to buy. As well as another 10 that will provide information, games, crafts , and other entertainment.

The Bogota Day Car show will also return this year open to all makes, & models. All cars will be able for viewing on the Main St. Extension that runs through Olsen Park. As of this date some of the entertainment has been arranged. There will be rides for the children proved by " Party Works"
Bogota's D. J. Raul Lebron will provide music through-out the day, along with keeping the event goers informed of the days activities.
The Headlining act will be " The Bad Parts" from North Bergen, NJ featuring a mix of Alternative, Punk, Ska, and some covers of Muse , and the Killers. There show will start at about 7:00p to finish the evening of entertainment for this years event.
Bogota Day starting out as a town block party a number of years ago, has turned into a Summer event to provide the Citizens of the Borough a chance to hang out with Family and Friends, meet their neighbors, and share a Summers evening together between Memorial Day , and the 4th of July. \
Bogota Day is a free family friendly event open to everyone who wants to join in listening to music, being a kid, or just to watch the day go by with others.
