Last Saturday the Football Bucs moved their record to 4-2 with a 27-0 victory at Feigel Field over Emerson.  After the game Bogota Blog NJ was able to ask head Coach Nick DeStefano five questions about the team at just over the halfway part of the season.
The next game is at home at Feigel Field when Bogota host St. Mary's of Rutherford ,NJ

-  Do you feel the team has developed the way you want.
Coach DeStefano
Our record is certainly better than it was at this time last year (4-2 as compared to 1-5). My players know that I am never completely satisfied.  Even when we win, we go back, watch film, and identify areas where we need to improve.

 Bogota Blog NJ
-  What has been the biggest surprise in the teams play
 Coach DeStefano
I would say the emergence of our QB as a dual threat and overall team defense.

 Bogota Blog NJ
-  What can the team still improve on.
Coach DeStefano
Special teams.

 Bogota Blog NJ
-  At the start of the season they gave up some leads in the 4th quarter, how has the team learned to finish the game.
Coach DeStefano
Against New Milford, I think we ran out of gas in the 4th quarter and were still trying to find our way.  It is hard to put together a 100% performance for an entire game.  This past week we were very sloppy in the first half and clicked on all cylinders in the second half.

 Bogota Blog NJ
-  Is the defense planned as a  “ swarming defense” or are they all so focus on the ball carrier that two , or three players are arriving for the tackle at the same time.
 Coach DeStefano
The mentality is really to have “11 to the ball” on every play.  It is something that has to be practiced.
