The third annual North Jersey Turkey Plunge happened today at Cupsaw lake in Ringwood, NJ. Originally for Oakland, NJ it had to be moved to Ringwood because of the damage from Hurricane Irene. Even with a chance of venue the plunge has raised at least $20,000 for Special Olympics New Jersey. There were some Bogota resident who had the courage to take a run into a late November lake. A few may have taken advantage of the 20 degree warmer than ave. temperature of 64. Council Nunez oldest Daughter Carly got her feet wet, as well as James Sepp and his kids Andrew, Julian, and Carly plunge in to help raise money.
