Although Hurricane Irene has passed will no major effects to the borough, Bogota Police still have a no street parking in effect until 5:00 am Mon.29-Aug. This will allow for clearing the street of debris. Police also advise that travel should be limited, as well as no travel should be on barricaded, or flooded roads. Please also be aware of downed power lines,and manhole covers that have become loose due to high water.
