The Wildlife Conservation& Education Center in Ridgefield Park NJ (AKA: the New Jersey Batman) is hosting the first night of "Bat Stock". This is a three day event to raise awareness, and money for research in a condition called White Nose Syndrome. Bat Stock is a first ever bat festival to be held in New Jersey in order to teach the public more about the condition, and benefits of bats in the state.
The first night will be the WC&EC 15 Mt Vernon Ave Ridgefield Park NJ 201-257-2231 and is a "Meet A Bat" along with wine & cheese. Time is from 7:00p to 9:00p There is a suggested donation of $5.00. for more information please go to njbatman.com
The next night is at Mexicali Live in Teaneck NJ 1409 Queen Anne Rd. 201-833-0011
It will be a concert with local bands, along with "Batty" items artwork for sale. Tickets are $10.00 in Advance ,and $15.00 at the door. Doors open at 6:00

The final night is a walk at the Flat Rock Nature Center in Englewood NJ 443 Van Nostrand Ave. 201-567-1267. The walk will be lead by Joe D'Angeli. The fee is $8.00, and will take place from 7:30p to 9:30p

All proceeds from these events will go to White Nose Syndrome research, as well local bat rehabbers and conservation groups
